Avery Wilkes

Avery Wilkes is a dancer, assistant, and teacher. Avery developed her love of dance at a very young age of 2.5 in her very first ballet class. She hasn’t stopped dancing since. She has a passion for performing whether it be in local Performance Groups or on the Competition Stage. With now 14 years of experience and her mentoring at Pure Studios Performing Arts she capitalized on several opportunities that have come her way as a result of her hard work and dedication to her craft. She attended Regional Dance America’s National Choreography Intensive, Hollywood Dance Experience, and she will also be an assistant for KAR convention 2024 season as a Protégé +. Avery currently trains in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, pointe, voice, acting, and ballroom. Avery has plans to further her dance education on the college level and continue teaching and choreography. If Avery is not in the studio you can find her at home choreographing in her basement with her biggest fan Esme watching!
