Jewelles Timpson is a 22 year old teacher, tap dancer, singer/musician and actress currently based in Dayton Ohio. Her performing background began when she was a young girl in dance/music lessons. She has a history of dancing for 10 years and fell in love with tap and jazz dance. She was a student with Kettering Children’s Choir for 8 years, which taught her in-depth music theory and exposed her to diverse music repertoire. Through KCC, she has performed with the Dayton Opera, Dayton Philharmonic, Wright Patterson Air Force Band of Flight, DCDC and more. She has been classically trained since she was 14 years old and has continued her skills in various genres throughout her career. She is so grateful to be able to pour back into the students education at Pure Studios and help them become creative artists. Jewelles has educational credits from Marietta College and Wright State University’s BFA Acting programs. She has most recently worked professionally as a performer with Disney Cruise Line Entertainment. She has spent time in high school and University directing and choreographing musicals and shows with casts of various skill levels. She choreographed her first musical, Crazy for You with Class Act Drama back in 2019. Since then, she has directed small projects at her university’s student theatre. She is immensely grateful to guide her students in creating art that they can be proud of.
